Morning at the Cathedral market

On Saturdays we have a great little market that sets up outside the Cathedral, so we popped down and had a nice morning walking around.

 

 

 

We bought some gorgeous walnut and date bread from the bakery stall. Beautiful with butter spread on it.

 

 

They always have lots of homemade Jams, chutneys, pies, cakes, you name it they have it. Can't beat proper fresh produce.

 

 

All the local artists come to sell their work as well.

 

It was a super hot day so we had a look around the Cathedral to cool off.

 

 

The entrance leads into the central courtyard, where this amazing tree is.

 

 

 

 

The ceilings are amazing.

 

 

The ladies always do lovely flower displays.

 

Can you imagine how many feet have walked up and down those stone stairs and how long it took in order for those steps to be worn down like that, mind boggling.

 

Little man fed the swans and ducks before we went.

All in all an excellent day.
