As I dropped little man off at school today, my heart sank, I had forgotten to bring his soft toy. My heart did recovered rather quickly when I discovered most of the other mums had also forgotten as well.
The teacher is doing a learning session from the book "The bear hunt" and all the children were meant to bring in their teddy bears or soft toys.
However all was not lost, before I had a child my handbag was clean and fresh, I carried lipsticks, eye shadows, perfumes and other pretty lady stuff. Then I had a child and now my bag consists of half eaten packets of Haribo sweets covered in fluff. Action mans left boot. An array of rather heavy hot wheel cars and my salvation, here it comes........a large spider man figure, hurray. Instead of going on a bear hunt, he'll have to go on a spider man hunt and just deal with it!
